The Narrow Boat Celebrates 10th Consecutive Year in CAMRA’S Good Beer Guide
The Narrow Boat on Victoria Street in Skipton has long been known for its excellent casks & beer quality and this reputation has been confirmed with its 10th consecutive entry in CAMRA’s (Campaign for Real Ale) Good Beer Guide.
First opened in 1999, the pub has had the incredible number of 18 entries into the Good Beer Guide, having only missed one year due to a manager change taking place during the selection rounds, which meant the pub was unable to enter. No other pub in the Keighley & Craven Branch District has maintained such an achievement.
Customers can depend on the 8 hand pumps to deliver high quality and wide selection of ales. With regulars, such as Okell’s Bitter, Ilkley Mary Jane and Timothy Taylors Landlord, to three ciders and perries and a dark beer, to the large range of kegs and a good selection of continental bottled beers, there is always something new to try for everyone.
