‘Baby Spar’ opens at The Crosby Pub to serve the local community
During this difficult time, we at SPAR recognise the important role we’re playing to provide a lifeline for our local Island communities with our convenience stores and forecourts.
To serve the local community of Crosby, and give residents of Glen Vine an alternative choice to our Union Mills store, on Friday 3rd April, we’re opened a ‘pop-up’ store within The Crosby pub; which has been temporarily closed during the Coronavirus lockdown.
We’re calling our brand new concept ‘Baby Spar’, but be assured that it will stock a comprehensive convenience range for essential shopping needs between the hours of 08:00 and 19:00 seven days a week. The Baby Spar will also be offering a collection and delivery service to the immediate surrounding area.
We very much appreciate our retail teams continuing to keep our communities stocked and supplied with groceries - and ask our customers to play their part in protecting them by following Isle of Man Government’s health guidelines for responsible shopping:
• maintain social distancing - we’ll be controlling customer numbers to help
• thoroughly wash hands before visiting stores and handling goods
• please make all payments, where possible, by card to avoid cash handling
Together we’ll get through this.
Stay safe,
Vic van den Heever
