Ramsey’s Royal George serves up new look and new menu

Ramsey is set to be all the more ‘Royal’ when the Royal George reopens on Thursday, June 30 with a new look after its refurbishment.

The Heron & Brearley pub in Market Square already has a new pavement café area and is now serving a new all-day food offering, Bella Pizza, a range of stone-baked pizzas, also available for takeaway. When the Royal George reopens it will reveal a completely new look.

TDL reaches Motor Transport Awards finals

Trade Distribution Limited (TDL), the logistics division of the Heron & Brearley Group, has reached the finals of the Motor Transport Awards (MTA) in the Partnership category.

The achievement comes after the company formed a partnership with Braddan-based assisted living equipment manufacturer DLP and its Droitwich Spa-based sales and distribution subsidiary AKW. The deal saw TDL devise and implement a bespoke UK-wide logistics operation for AKW with a 100 per cent success rate and go on to secure a second five-year contract.

Mannin Retail Ltd Contract to run central Douglas Post Office

Isle of Man Post Office is pleased to announce that it has now signed the contract with Mannin Retail Ltd (Mannin Retail) to provide postal services in central Douglas, starting in September of this year.

Mannin Retail, which operates the Spar brand on the Island, have strong retail sector experience and already run five Post Offices around the Island to a high standard, providing excellent service to customers. Mannin Retail will take over the running of the Regent Street Post Office in early September 2015.
