Neil Kelly has been appointed to the Main Board of the Heron & Brearley Group as finance director.
Manx-born, Neil Kelly joined H&B’s finance department as a graduate in 2001. Since then, he has achieved a linear career progression at the hospitality group, as well as gaining the ACCA qualification, to become a chartered certified accountant along the way.
In recent years, as group head of finance, Neil has also gained valuable experience serving on the boards of several H&B subsidiary companies as a director and in his capacity as Group company secretary.

In a major achievement for the Isle of Man’s craft brewery, Okell’s MPA (Manx Pale Ale) has been nominated as the Champion Beer of Britain at the 40th Great British Beer Festival in London.
Organised by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), the festival has been the most prestigious event in the annual calendar for the beer industry since its inception in 1977.

The annual Pub of the Year award is probably the most well known CAMRA pub accolade. With over 60 pubs in the Isle of Man, there is some very worthy competition which is why we take this award very seriously.

Anyone visiting the popular 'Manngo' website will notice it automatically redirects you to the 'pubsandbars.im' website. H&B marketing manager, Marie Kinvig explained “We’d been reviewing feedback from our customers for some time and decided to simplify and improve the overall site experience”.
