The annual Pub of the Year award is probably the most well known CAMRA pub accolade. With over 60 pubs in the Isle of Man, there is some very worthy competition which is we take this award very seriously.
We are so happy that the Prospect pub in Douglas has been awarded the Runner-Up Pub of the Year 2017! Our congratulations goes out to the Whitehouse in Peel who has won the CAMRA Pub of the Year for the 12th year running!
The selection criteria for the shortlist of Pub of the Year reflects the core values of CAMRA - the campaign for real ale. Therefore CAMRA ranks the quality and range of ales served in a pub at the highest priority. Across the Heron & Brearley estate, we go to great lengths to protect our product quality and we are proud this helped the Prospect win this award.
