Senior Retail Operations Manager

Description

Mannin Retail are currently seeking for a Senior Retail Operations Manager to join their team at Head Office, reporting to the Managing Director.

As the Senior Retail Operations Manager, you will look to maximise sales and profit growth for the Mannin Retail stores and Post Office operations, through coaching & inspiring each Store Manager to consistently deliver operational excellence and to build motivated and high performing teams through effective leadership. You will also contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of a business strategy; including trading and investment that maximises the retail net profit by driving sales and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables include: 

  • Supporting GM's with P&L reviews, including highlighting areas of sucess and development.
  • Understanding Stock Control systems & processes, as this role would have overall accountability of leakage and stock valuation management. 
  • Maximise sales and control all financial KPI's in line with budgeted expectations and to have a business strategy plan for all stores to ensure improvement & growth. 
  • Complete structured store visits to improve standards across the store in all areas of the retail environment. 

The successful candidate will be able to turn strategies into effective operational activities and have commercially sound knowledge with a good understanding of P&L accounting and the influence of operating factors on business performance. Experience of working in a fast paced environment would be beneficial as would the ability to step outside the normal job description as required and be comfortable doing this to deliver the required service to the business. 

All candidates must hold a full, clean driving licence and have at least 3-5 years' experience in a similar customer service led operational role. Up to date knowledge of retail statutory requirements would be desirable.
