Operations Manager

Description

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager for our Mannin Retail business which forms part of the H&B Group.  The role will be accountable for the operations of 17 Spar stores; which includes 4 Petrol Filling Stations and 6 Post Offices.

The mission and purpose of the role is to maximise sales and profit growth for Mannin Retail Stores and Post Office operations, through; leading, coaching and inspiring each Store Manager to consistently deliver operational excellence and to build motivated and high performing teams through effective leadership and line management. To contribute to the development, implementation , monitoring and review of the business strategy; including trading and investment that maximises the retail net profit by driving sales and controlling costs.

This position forms part of the Mannin Retail Management Team based at Head Office, however daily travel to stores will be required with the flexibility to work weekends depending on the business needs.

How to Apply

All applicants must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a fast paced retail environment and have a good understanding of food retail operational standards. Understanding of stock management systems, commercially sound with a good understanding of P&L accounting, the influence of operating factors on business performance and able to work effectively under a fast paced changing environment.
